if you size the pvc tubes right you shouldnt need 2 re jet
-
That's a Polaris for you. Ha.

Did you have to get a jet pack put on the carb after you put the snorkel kit on? I am about to put a snorkel kit on my 700 but I dont want to make sure it still runs right.

that exhaust snorkel is so useful underwater like that.

I think I would stick to personal water craft.

wut metal u use for the pipe?
TeamPolaris11 2 years ago
Front snorks for belt drive & air box were made of black pvc. Would suggest gray if i had to do over again. The exhaust snork was made of aluminum same as car exhaust. Had it done at a local muffler shop. $50

I had the pipe bent to fit at a muffler shop. I welded it to the little curved tip on the bottom of the factory muffler. then I welded on a piece of bent flat metal so I could bolt it to the part of the frame that runs between the right side tail light & center storage box. You'll see there is holes already in that bar & you can find a bolt & nut to run through it pretty easily. Just a thought for you to consider.

how did you keep the air box seal watertight?? did you just rely on the genuine rubber seal under the lid??

left the factory seal on the box, but ran a bead of rtv sealant (blue) in the grooves of the lid & around the outside edge of the box itself. When I put the snorkels on I traced the outline of the factory snorkel onto a frizbie & cut out a piece to fit over the hole in the airbox. Then screwed some 90 degree fittings into it & sealed them up too. Then ran my hoses to my snorks. Never had a problem with leaks.

do you have problems with ur axles
sjenn10124 3 years ago
all the time. but thats the cost you pay for having a big motor w/ aggressive & big tires. you can get some gorilla axles if you wanna spend the money, but the way i ride its just as simple to fix the stock for a lesser cost in parts.
