Just because it was banned in an obviously conservative country, it doesn't mean it's not art. Tattoos are indeed a form of ART. Be it for aesthetics or for the concept of the tattoo you're getting/giving. Architecture has also been here for thousands of years. So what? Caveman used to paint. So what? Just because it's old it doesn't make it barbaric. It just shows the desire humans have for aesthetics and for exposing an idea in different ways than just speaking about it.

Actually, a tattoo is a way to permanently make an image/word/phrase part of your body and carry it with you your whole life for personal reasons. That's why it's called "body ART" and "tattoo ARTIST".

Fur and Leather and parts of creatures that were killed only for a hag to feel "important". Because that's the only reason fur "feels so good". You're wearing something that used to belong to a living creature and now it's yours. People like that have self-esteem problems.
