I'm American(of German/Armenian heritage) and I love Goran Bregovic, Eastern European culture and music, and have to agree with you. As great a country the USA is, the sheer ignorance and prejudice displayed by the majority of the population is sickening. The super rich and powerful have made it this way on purpose, so they can commit their crimes without fear of repercussion. Well guess what, Rockefeller, not all of us are foolish, and if it comes to it, we have many AKs here too ;)
