after these ads screen i always tried to open my flake like that and only successfully managed to make a mess - mum wasn't happy, that was some crumbly, flaky chocolate.

I grew up watching this in Australia: to this day I still consider Flake to be the classy option of chocolate bars, it comes down entirely to these dapper Victorian couple.

greatest ad jingle of all time seriously it canes. Epic love it neve heard a better one its just childhood defining.

I always wondered why she was hiding and he followed her. Now I know, the lifting of the skirt was a sign to "come and meet me at our special tree". Im guessing th flake was to eat while she was waiting.

The Australian ad had different music and different slogan. Part of it went something like "Watch it crumble and melt in your mouth. No other chocolate does it like Flake does. Created like no other chocolate." Used to be up on Youtube before they took it down ;(

I saw this on tv here in Australia so many times as a 9, 10 and 11 year old. The song no other chocolate looks like flake looks enticed me to buy this yummy chocolate at the corner shop. It did flake everywhere, but I could eat it slowly, bit by bit, and enjoy it.

@dynasue77 I used to crush it up while the packet was still sealed and then pour the powdered chocolate in to my mouth.
