@colterknebel u don't have to do that i found a site that sells godzilla 1985/ return of godzilla on dvd return of godzilla has subtitles and godzilla 1985 is already in english i can give you the link if you want

Thinking of importing some Gojira blu-rays. How is the picture quality? I want GFW, GMK, Return Of Godzilla, vs. Mothra (1964), Ghidorah (1964) and maybe Biollante.

Since Media Blasters is going to release Destroy All Monsters and Godzilla vs Megalon with both the Japanese and English dubs (possibly including the A.I.P. dub for DAM) I hope they can get the rights to this film and do it Classic Media style: two discs,one for the U.S. version and one for the Japanese version.

I hope one day (while i'm still alive, hopefully) there will be enough demand for godzilla in america for this movie to be released in america in it's original form. I doubt this is going to happen but I really want the new godzilla movie to get enough fans to get these movies released with english subtitles in america. I'm getting tired of waiting and I'm getting tired of trying to find it on youtube. Guess i'll have to put more effort into learning japanese.

@colterknebel You and every other G-FANs wish ;). You can definitely find these movies out there on the net as well. And slowly, more and more companies are buying rights to these movies here in the US, and releasing them on bluray. Especially the Gamera Heisei series is being released on blu-ray this September, keep your eyes open for them. As for Godzilla....may be waiting for awhile unfortunately.

Well Mr. Werewolf, chances are these blu-rays will never see an American backing over here unfortunately. Godzilla just isn't in high demand in the US market as he is for the Japanese, and other markets. Keep your fingers crossed...though can't promise anything ;)
