@Redline2695 it was actually $450ish used. 2speed. woulda costed about $900 brand new. clutch / Xfer were a litte more than the trans. kids with no ambition / imagination are most of the reason the tuner community looks so lame. we're not building a car to be in some Fast n Furious movie.
but my main toy is a 96' LS1 more spent than thCamaro with ALOT e honda-tron. my daily is a 79' VW Rabbit that runs vege oil. so the crx spends 99% of it's life parked in the garage anyway.

@Redline2695 non-fiction sir. you could easily find a similair car already finished for under 6k easily. integra type-R crate was $1200 from a local JDM warehouse, had 75k miles. easily the most expensive part of the project.
its not very hard to rip all the interior out of an already light-weight car and drop a nice top end inp it.p intercooler/hoses/mounts were used (500$ish) and a new turbine is cheap as hell
like i said, it isnt a 'nice' 'flashy' thing. its a fast POS lol

@Redline2695 true story man. back in 2007 my lil brother and i built an 8sec CRX with a compressed B18c (typeR) under the hood and it's very street legal.. its not very SAFE for street driving, andp gotta change out the race slicks off of the front hubs, but it IS street legal / registered
not gonna say that it's not a POS or anything, cause it basically is lol. it's purpose was to race, not to flash. but it cost a TOTAL of about $2500 to build, and about a years worth of free weekends :D
