From May to June of 2008, "That Asian Thing" participated in an online film competition as part of the Independent Features Film Festival (http://www.independentfeatures.com). With over 200 entries, "That Asian Thing" was voted into the film festival to be held from July 25th to 27th at the acclaimed Tribeca Cinemas (http://www.tribecacinemas.com).
Tickets went on sale the week of July 5th and "That Asian Thing" was SOLD OUT in 2 weeks!
"That Asian Thing" won the Audience Choice Award for Best Documentary.
Here is a quick 3-minute film summary of the hijinks that ensued over the quick paced weekend.
