I overhauled our 125 gallon fishtank adding rocks, and a few live plants. And mostly new fish. I am trying to set it up as an Amazon River Whitewater biotope. I have 4 marble angels, 4 silver dollars, 6 corydoras Schwartzi catfish, 1 pleco, and 1 marble hatchet. I want to add another couple plecos, and some tetras. I have been having trouble identifying tetras native to Amazon whitewater.

  • i cant find where nemo is :'(

  • the silver dollars will eat your live plants to

  • those siverdollars will kill those angle fish when they get bigger. it happened to me :(

  • @ozzymann Ahahaha, you think they are piranhas. Don't make me laugh - please. There silver dollars =P

  • seriously ?? piranhas with angelfish ? no way this will work. maybe i am mistaken but i have some red belly and those look same. video quality is not good enough that i can see

  • never heard of white water but yeah u will find tetras like soft blackwater only

  • Iove the rock piles, a few more large plants amongst them and this will be incredible

  • Stunning! I really like this tank. Especially the running water. It would be very relaxing to be in that room. Every office should have something like this to help people keep calm and to aid productivity.

Im half way to having a natural looking amazon tank. I need some driftwood, a few more fish and some stones. If you would like to see my tank I have a video of it on my channel.

Those fish are very lucky. :)

  • It's emulating white water conditions, dude. That's not quiet.

  • This is a *very* interesting tank. I have not only never seen such a project undertaken, I don't think I'd have ever thought of it on my own. It's giving me some ideas. And as others have said, I am indeed jealous.

    Excellent tank.
