For those who are constantly categorizing Cradle of Filth by genre..You really don't know them well. They do not categorize themselves at all. The closest thing you can say is that they are an extreme metal band. They are a British Black Metal band with powerful Gothic elements. Being a 12 year fan, it just irks me when people call them anything but. They stand alone in the Metal world, and cannot be compared to any other band out there.. Ever. They deserve proper recognition of who they are.
