Two issues about Islam, and why I am buying a gun

1. Islam actually has a political doctrine, a.k.a. Sharia Law. This law goes against individual liberty, is incompatible with the U.S. Constitution, and that's why I have a HUGE problem with it.

2. Can an infidel be innocent in the eyes of a devout Muslim? If the answer is yes, then that's one thing, but if it is no, then there is a HUUUUUUGE problem here.

I'm with you dude, I have no problem with muslims believing in islam. But when they want to force it on everyone else, now I have a problem with that. And muslims think they are superior to non muslims and we non muslims arent innocent that is complete BS...

I am an Atheist who has been doing personal research on Islam.

The simple answer to your question of can people of different religions be considered innocent in the eyes of Islam varies widely with the sect you are dealing with.

If you are dealing with Fundamentalist Islam, then no. A person who is of a different religious faith is NOT an innocent. Openly stating your faith is like a declaration of war to such a Muslim.

There are two types of unbelievers, the ones who are againts and declare war on muslim and Islam and the other ones are who we muslim make agreement with to live in peace and harmony. If u declare war againts Muslim and Islam, the Quran has got alot to tell how to deal with you, but if u want to live in peace side by side with muslims the Quran has alot to tell about love, and justice.

Infidels means something specific in that passage. If you're a Christian then surely you know there are some pretty F**ed up bible passages, such as Numbers 31:17 "Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him." It doesn't matter who you are, this is f**ed up. Nevertheless, there are still some decent Christians out there. I'm sure the same is true for Muslims.
