The torque is the killer, the LSD's bearings are the let-down under 500+ nm of tourque. And taking the car around Baskerville like your arse is on fire doesn't help either....
The car lost a diff doing the road-close at race-speed at Targa Tas in the 1990's.. Got her home, but the diff was so badly mangled, I had to replace shafts...

@tcpnetworks lol i have an EF turbo :D and a BF II Turbo 6sp auto. U have been through 5 diffs?? wowza big launch on slicks? usually diffs in these are ok unless u are launching too hard on slicks. The old t5 tho haha. TKO600 time :D

How does the trans hold out with so much twisty-stuff? Sheared the main shaft in one, and blew the rear bearings out on the second.... Diffs? Uhh.. 5 of them...
Seriously - a wonderful car... The Fairmonts were the best modded-up.. That and the EF were the best shapes... The AU through to BF were spewful.

Just wanted to say,
a) That was a fucking beast.
b) Don't even reply to the shitcunts trying to insult you and your projects. It's clear you put alot of work in to them, and that it pays off.
c) Very sorry you lost it... It's not like they could drive that around how it was when it was taken... It's probably been stripped mate :( was it insured?

Your obviousally a fuckhead commodore driver, this car was a custom built project with over $25,000 in it so i suggest u get your facts right before u say your dumbass comments, besides what purpose does your baby comment serve do u get off on trying to pay out on people that have better cars then u, i think your a sad waste of space
