Dax + Lory: My Arms Around You

Note: This is a video based off of a fanfiction story. It is not told in chronological order in this video, but rather a series of memories alternating between the two characters.

Story: Dax and Lorelai come from very different backgrounds and very different times. Dax was born Drakon, the son of a greedy, war-seeking king, and a beautiful cult-witch. He was cursed by his mother to live an immortal life in order to sustain her own.

Lorelai is the daughter of a once happy family, set far in the future from Dax's time. A historian by trade, after her mother died, she left the country to venture to smaller places in order to hide in the writings of the past to avoid the present.

The two's paths crossed in Egypt after Lorelai nearly got herself arrested for a mistranslation. He found himself falling for the woman who hid her emotions so often from the world, and even she seemed to open up around him.

But Lorelai held a secret. She was working for Dax's enemy, a man from his past and an ally of his father, who he hated. She was ordered to betray Dax and deliver him to his father's former right-hand-man as a weapon, but Lorelai found herself unable to do so. One day, the two were supposed to meet at a library, but Lory did not show, nor did she show the next day. She was gone.

Through a series of varying circumstances, the two found themselves on the same path once again, the emotions still resonating between them no matter how they tried to hide them. Lorelai had returned pregnant, presumably with the enemy's child, but her secret was soon revealed. She carried Dax's child, but their fight was not over.

After all they have been through to get together, can the two have a happy ending, or will they be forced to part ways once again, but this time for good?

I edited together the video clips and music myself, but the clips themselves all come from separate movies. Most the clips are available on fansites for each actor shown. For the list of movies used -- see the previous comments.

ok, it's always like that, the book is much better. I havn't seen the movie yet and it doesn't seem to be worth waching it either. This song is wonderful anyway! I'm singing it at school right now :)
