What are the tools you have in your possession for these kind of things? It looks like a lot of machining went into that hilt.

@SeiberShadowKatt We have a full shop with a lathe, mill, drill press, saws, sandblaster, powdercoating station, polisher, dremels and other hand tools. In other words, a LOT of tools;)

That is one of the coolest and most beautiful lightsabers I've seen. Fantastic attention to detail; I prefer the simplicity of less lights too. Great job VV.

Out of curiosity, how do you find the polished alu & gold, and powdercoat black finish hold up over time? Would I expect the alu to rust, or the gold wear off?

@koyukionna Thanks for the complements, it was also my favorite. Aluminum doesn't rust, though it can oxidize and get dull and leave a black dust on your hands from handling if not polished. When we polish aluminum we do it to a mirror finish which is quite resistant to oxidization. Powder coating is basically a pulverized plastic coating that gets baked and "flowed" onto the part. So in other words it's like having a plastic shell around the part and should last for years.

How much do your ligthsabers start at? For basically the most basic, non-fancy hilt that DOES have sound (assuming the cheapest option sound card)? It would help lots of people to know like if you guys are an exclusively high end saber making company or if some of us less wealthy Star Wars fans can afford one of your sabers!
