@TheKsalad I agree- I love how the Other Mother was ultimately the only true evil character. Everything else which exists in her world does so purely because she created them- he has no other purpose but to serve her but still cares for Coraline.

@YorkJonhson To be honest, I read it when I was in elementary school lol. It may not have been as good as I remember, but I do remember some of the illustrations being pretty disturbing, and the overall feel of the book seemed much more creepy than the movie.I suppose I should read it again before giving a solid recommendation, but I would still give it a try.
