This is my test DIY Radio Controlled Aircraft for my ongoing UAV project. Still the same PS2 controller. New features include 2 way radio link so telemetry data can be read from the aircraft. Battery voltage and current draw on the aircraft can be read on the ground station as well as RF signal quality and packet success rate. I've also integrated an angular rate sensor (or Gyro) on the plane as a first step towards autonomous robotic flight. Future developments will be a 2nd gyro (for yaw correction), a 3 axis Accelerometer (to tell which way up is) and an LCD display at the receiver end to display data gathered from the aircraft. @palmisano *gasp*. are you criticising the quality of this awesome vid?

If I do a video and it comes out bad, I delete it and do the whole video again =P
(my sonar video took like 10 tries until I realized my cam speaker turns off when it hears sonar pings - I ended up dubbing over it after filming)
