This is some footage of a bot deathmatch in Quake III Arena on the Sega Dreamcast.

As you can see, this game is hard to control on the DC without the DC mouse which I don't have.

Though this is an impressive port of the game, it's really not worth looking into unless you want to play an offline version against bots. I haven't played it split screen, but I hear that when you play with four plays, the game boggs down, but I can't confirm that.

  • Will someone help me out. Dreamcast can play online but can someone like tell me step by step? and is this game and unreal tournament online?

  • @teh2Dgamer I read your description. Did you know there are STILL active online servers? There's a few people here on youtube that give us server status updates, and to my surprise they're still up and running. They also play it on a weekly basis. Keeping a great thing alive really...

  • @SilverGalford I think that was in Tony Hawk 3 but not sure... that was a music track...

  • @SilverGalford Yeah, that's a old Hip-hop track from the 90's Chorus was: Jump Around! Pretty appropriate regarding the game :p

  • I Luved this game i had the mouse the keybored the works, luved it big time, now i play quake 3 and 4 on my p.c., they were the days

  • @SilverGalford Van halen - "1984"

  • @SilverGalford Tyler Perry?

  • @steve5123456789 Which comment are you referring to? If it's about the texturing, the DC had crisper, more detailed textures due to having twice the V-ram of the PS2. That being said, the PS2 still was a lot more powerful, and had better graphics overall. The DC had some really nicely detailed textures though. Shenmue was a good showpiece of that.

  • @teh2Dgamer Don't know about that, they also said the Megadrive had blast processing making it better graphics than SNES, but Megadrive won in presentation and fun.
