Webb is so inconsistent. He's one of those guys who either has a sick kick like this race or dies out. He is fast as shit though, lagat's stride is sooooo nice that i thought he was going to take it but web's speed is amazing. And i heard he split a 47 in high school

@on3twe1v3 my watch says 13.12 for the last 100m. dont forget straightaways are 85m and turns are 115m. theres 100m left when they pass the straight line on the end of the curve. I would know because as a high school student i race at icahn a good 4 times every outdoor season.

so? he does have the sprint ability, an INCREDIBLE sprint ability in the last 100m, but the last 400m was what I was talking about... i.e. el guerrouj running 53 seconds for the last lap in his world rec. 1500...

How do you know Alan Webb abuses drugs?I thought that the officials have all the athletes tested pretty much almost every race.

one of the most obvious abusers of banned substances since his high school days. he's been going bald since he was 16. his body is shot and he had to pull out from nationals. he ran better what he was a senior in HS. 2007 was his pinnacle year. CERA testing started in 2008.
