  • No the indicator is Methyl Orange

  • Din't you mean methyl red? It is organge at pH = 7 and yellow at pH <7.

  • the 'end point' is dependant on the reaction that the indicator is used, as different reactions are 'finished' at different pHs.

  • it turns a light orange in acid....hence methyl ORANGE
