@buzzybender Yes, that's exactly what I've always thought. Instead of that spire Pearce's Pillar should be there. The statue on the pillar should have been replaced with one of Patrick Pearce reading the proclamation and the date of MDCCCV on the base should have been sanded out and replaced with MCMXVI.

Nice to see the Pillar there, if those clowns who blew it up had a brain, they could have discussed replacing the statue. They ruined a famous landmark. What have we got now ? , an ugly sodding spire.

Meanwhile our own Irish ppl - cancer patients, disabled ppl, respite care for seriously ill children who need 10million a year in Leinster - are deprived healthcare. Africans and Arabs come here, using our resources, not giving a damn how it affects us.
