    Hace unos años un historiador cubano musicólogo estuvo en Colombia y dijo que la visita de Oscar de Leon a Cuba marcó el renacer de la música cubana en los 80 , pues Oscar , al incluir en su repertorio clásicos de la música cubana les recordó que esa música es muy rica.
