Cheap Trick Surrender Bass, Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0, Bergantino, Modulus FB4

Genz Benz Shuttle 12+Bergantino 12, Modulus FB4, Lane Poor pickup, mids boosted. I know this song note for note and play it differently all the time. Live, I have played this only once (in a band setting at a club), and it went over VERY well. I love this band. From the album Heaven Tonight, 1978.

i did notice the genz benz (newer one) to be quite thin sounding compared to the markbass stuff. ive just heard that the markbass cabs are cheaply made. and if i were to get a genz benz head, it would be the 9.0 for me personally. have you tried genz benz cabs? i heard there decent, but bergantino is like the standard of high quality cabs. and what about tc electronic? im trying all this stuff out friday in nyc. ill let you know how things go cuz id rather find the right gear the first time.

@rickenbacker95 I have never heard or seen better cabs than Bergantinos.. not kidding. I am not sure about Markbass cabs.. never have heard them. I would certainly say Bergs are better based on the reviews. I have a genz cab, yes, with my shuttle.. it's.. ok.. I have a Shuttle 6.0 12T.. the cab is not good.. but it is old. The Neo Cabs from Genz get rave reviews.. they cannot be bad. TC Electronics.. I only know what I have read about them. If you're wanting to buy right the first time...

@rickenbacker95 .. my markbass blows the GB out of the water.. completely.. the genz is nice, but the power is not there... don't be fooled by ratings.. mine's an older genz.. but it's quite thin-sounding.

@rickenbacker95 I have a Genz cab.. it's ok..I cannot speak to MArkbass cabs.. my LMII is amazing.. but that's an amp..lol.. as far as the dream combo.. mine has been the LMII+Berg cabs.. but.. the genz head is amazing also. I have never heard a better sound cab combination than Bergantino or Epifani... I am sure Genz's new cabs are great. TC Electronics is reputable.. good reviews. Never have seen anyone using them.. you should, if not already, go on talkbass.com and ask.. good luck. let me kno

it is simply a good song. I know a few other Cheap Trick songs, and might post them.. they are a great band.
