1971 7-UP Commercial starring Trinidadian character actor Geoffrey Holder who has also worked as choreographer, dancer, painter, costume designer, singer and voice-over artist. So popular were these ads, 7-UP created a new batch with Geoffrey in the 1980s.

    Yes, I read it, but didn't know he went back as early as 1971. You just interpreted what I said wrongly.

  • he is my uncle and i am so proud of him. He is currently living in New York and he is actually sick. I am so blessed to be his niece and i hope he gets better

  • In the 1970s, after winning a Tony Award, Holder went on to the stage, accepted the award and then said "Trying make this out of a cola nut," much to the delight of the audience.
