That is really unnerving. The angle they used to follow the tricicle. It's a great effect because the hallways seem to tower and enpower the viewer from a vantage point of a child. Good cinematography and a chilling score too at that.

@MsBreeAZ Stanley Kubrick changed it from room 217 to 237 because the hotel manager requested it. He feared that his customers would never want to stay in that room again after they see the movie so Kubrick was nice enough to change it to 237 a room number that doesnt really exist in the hotel.
