God that was awesome. I have seriously tried, but am unable to watch it without grinning like a idiot from 16 seconds and up. Looks like one giant slalom. I take it that it's not 'just' the 3.9 that makes the difference? Great vid. :-)

that car is ridiculously fast : D

Well done "Laminated"...shame for the wobbly and out of focus vid, but an exciting piece of racing nevertheless !

Ohhh, I say, very good race. You do seem to be experiencing a little power overster on exit. I love it!
Excellent camera work also. In saying that, not really interested in lookin' at your mug when you are obviously in a demanding part of the circuit with traffic, rather see more of the race, nothing personal you understand.
Just pullin' your chain mate, love to see mpore of your efforts.
Fair play that really looks fantastic and scary at the same time. What regs does your engine have to conform too? is fuel injection allowed, would love to find out more,great vid your car sounds awesome, thanks for posting it

@mgb40v8 - BCV8 Championship Class C regs - it's a mild 3.9 with a small 4-barrel Holley.

What gearbox is in the car? Dog?

No, synchro Borg Warner/Tremec T5

You mean standard Sierra T5 with helical gears with synchros removed or a Glebe type straight cut dog box? Your changes are very fast like a dog box. Interested as am currently building a MGB GT V8 and considering a glebe style set up.
Is your engine only 3.9l or more?

LOL, I mean exactly what i said.
I believe the T5 was used in Sierras amongst other things (notably Mustangs and TVRs). It's a bog-standard synchro box in the MG, nothing fancy.
I used to run CTS and Glebe dog boxes in the Tuscan Challenge. Dog boxes only make a big difference if you know how to flat shift. It's possible to shift with a T5 synchro box in under half a second.
The motor is a Class C (BCV8 regs) warm 3.9 - about 220bhp I guess. Plenty of torque though. ;+)
