New trainers who want to train their dog motivationally need to learn how to change their dog's state of mind so that the dog wants to be with them and the dog must want what the handler has. I love this and have done all of this with my intact male and he LOVES interacting with me and the toys and food but at new places he does not care about me or toys at all !! He wants to check out all the dogs and THAN he gets to work! o you think I should correct him for this ? NOTHING I could have would be more rewarding than the new dogs.

    Thanks

    Kim
