hmmm, so the great depression in the 30s was simple and happy? face it kid, life is hard and its not always fair. girls are pretty today ya know. and it may have been simpler back then, but hell, its never gonna be easy

Whoa whoa whoa, I just said something that was my own opinion. I'm not saying JUST the 1930's. Many of these shorts were from the '40s as well. And about women being pretty...they looked BETTER then.

I agree with jgray110. Life is not, and never has been, a simple and happy thing. Too bad real life has to be so much darker and more serious than it is portrayed in television and movies. At least we can watch The Three Stooges and escape reality for a brief moment.
