baccilamiocaro-is correct and also keep their heads up to minimise the power of the buck(if they get their heads between their legs your in trouble)
-
can i use this in my bucking vid?
-
Well what works for me might not work for other people.
Different ridding methods for different types of horse personalities.

lol i been riding my whole life. i've had to ride with helmets, i hate it. it's uncomfortable and a hastle. u do what you want to, i'll do what i want.

Yes, i forgot that looking cool is way more important than cracking your head open or not.
-
ahaha! Except if they are bucking the LAST thing you want to do is to pull back on them to get them to back up. It changes their balance and will only make them buck higher, if not rear. If they are bucking you want to put MORE leg on and send them forward again, not send the energy backwards.

one of My horses tried to buck me off once.....he never did it again.
My advice would be to back him up every time he tries or to take him in circles.. and if that doesn't work I'd give him One crack on the ass

ya, but you look like a tard with a helmet on.

proof "cowboys" hats are nothing but annoying.
Yeah, we think it was the hat. If you look closely, you can see his nose turned to the right just as the hat flew off, so he caught a glimpse of it. He had been bucking sometimes when taken to a canter, but hadnt done so in quite some time, so he had let his guard down this time. This was the first and only time he bucked us off! (And I caught it on tape :) He hasnt bucked since either <knock on wood> BF was ok after the fall, fortunately the grass was thick and cushioned the fall.
