  • The Moody Blues honoured the world participating in the Goodwill Games. The Cold War between Russia and US raged, underneath the entire world! Justin’s words are meaningful in the 21st century! Good job, Red Baron, the quality is great! ~ Janet

  • “The Goodwill Games was an international sports competition, created by Ted Turner in reaction to the political troubles surrounding the Olympic Games of the 1980s. In 1979, the invasion of Afghanistan caused the United States and other Western countries to boycott the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, an act reciprocated when the Soviet and other Eastern Bloc countries (with the exception of Romania) boycotted the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.”

  • @truckintim87 True, but unlike music of today....These guys can really sing. I have seen them live over 4 times and at the Hollywood Bowl..they are incredible live and they do not lip sync...This is just for this special event. Too much to set up with an orchestra...Too much time and money, but still a nice treat! Yes I am a fan and fellow musician...:)

  • Yes, play back.

  • Fantastic. No apology needed...it is a great record of the event and the sound is good.

    Thanks!

  • Along with The Moody Blues doing this appearance for the Good Will Games. They also had a short (About 12 U.S. cities) tour but word got around and other concert promoters wanted them for there cities as well. I I think it became a couple month tour of North America for them.

  • Thank you for posting this, redbaron!

I AM IN LOVE WITH THE MOODY BLUES!!!

  • Baron...don't be sorry. keep it coming.

Any major events with OUR BOYS in it, we can take a notch or two below your usual..and be glad for it.

    Tom in Utica NY

  • Is the best song ever I hear in my life LOL

  • nice job on lip synching!
