Rare PS1 model. Got this today would of posted something earlier but disk spinner wasnt working due to the power slot off its solder point needed soldering which i have done and now it is working perfectly. This is rare to find they go for around £120 boxed even more got mine for £20 boxed with everything and its mint. Sorry for the darkness later in the video.

  • @VIPERINFERNO786 I have now a 5552 in my collection, but i ran into a problem.I got it (It had no PSU,but i had a 9002 spare one :D),i put the PSU,and turn the PSX on.But after turning on it spins like insane!!(I WONT TOUCH THE POTS,OK?)

  • @VIPERINFERNO786 I killed that motherboard(the old one that didn't work)by taking out all chips with a screwdriver :D

  • @bacovia2004 LOL well it was worth a try i have put my PS1 away got two now quite a few of this model going on ebay so have a look

  • @VIPERINFERNO786 Update:I've killed that motherboard,and i have a new 7502 with modchip.

  • @VIPERINFERNO786 I've remained at my fresh modded SCPH-1002,it has access leds and a modchip :)

  • @bacovia2004 Did this work for you :) let me know i went back to my one i bust replaced the drive and everything resoldered half of the connectors it was better adjusted pot values got better but still it could load quicker these scph 1002 models are pisstaking

  • @VIPERINFERNO786 I looked into it,no pots, and seriously this is my favourite PSOne!

  • @bacovia2004 LOL read up on forums or google it thats what i did i gave up tho cuz i got me ps2 handy to play backups on and memory cards are working with me slimline ps2 so its ok :) lol but check and they probably need adjusting so the motherboard give out more power to the drive

  • I will look into it now,i'll tell you what i will find (and if i find the pots),right?

  • @VIPERINFERNO786 I have no pot values on this one (i've opened it a lot so i know that the connections are all). This 7502 has a power supply from a 9002.Maybe resoldering the orange flat cable's connector would resolve it?
