@xsummerheat Doesn't mean they all live equally spread throughout the country. I live in Halifax and speak french, but almost never got the chance to speak french in public and rarely hear it.

@xsummerheat I agree with you completely but did you have to go so far as to use "faggot"? Do you actually know where that word comes from? If so, where and why! Seriously, I don't know what is worse, the idiot that said that or you going back at them with a "NAZI" term.

Pure TRASH video

OMG What was it like going to the Opening Ceremony?! I've always wanted to go to one!

@doofman100 LMFAO. Only 25% of Canada is French, you seriously have some issues. I live in Canada and I have NEVER heard a French person in my entire life. So you seriously need to go to school. Faggot.

You are soo lucky that you got to be there!!! I wish I went!! I only saw it on tv! I thought that it was sooo amazing!!!!

The first words uttered in the ceremony were "Mesdames et Messieurs", Nikki Yanofsky and Measha Brueggergosman sang the anthems in both languages, the Governor General opened them in both, all countries were called out in both, Garou sang a French song, and the the guy in the canoe during the fiddling section was a tribute to the Chasse-galerie legend of New France. Maybe they messed up in having only Donald Sutherland narrate, but the French were very well represented!
This introduction to the Vancouver games is pretty unique and I thought it was jaw dropping.
