At approximatly 3 minutes, MDC signalling can be heard. Earlier on in the video, 5-Tone signalling is heard.
Hope this helps,

its the baud data burst that can be sent at either at the beginning or the end of the transmission depending on how the radio is programmed if it supports MDC signaling

Hello,KC2VOB
At 3:00, from the sound it should be mdc1200.
However, LCD the number of radio shows does not seem MDC1200,
MDC system is a 4-bit ID. For instance ID "ABCD"
5-tone similar to the 2-tong
sorry, I'm not familiar with icom the BIIS
Perhaps this is the mdc system and BIIS work together, right ?
Can i get the same radio for Cilent Listening?, if yes where from and price? i m intrested to have it in Rwp. same model ONLY FOR Learning and Cilent usage. Regards: JAT

@MrJAT302 You can certainly get this radio but it's not the best thing for listening. That's why scanners are around. Buy one from the SCANNERMASTER (.COM) and you will be able to monitor the entire radio spectrum.

Great demo. Did you have to program the radio in any way? The UK system requires a radio to transmit the ID in order for it to be allowed to join the network. The individual radios can be deactivated or locked out. The Motorola radios here can be forced in to a test mode which stops it transmitting, but you still need to program it in order to hear anything.
Have you programmed the radio?
It's very interesting.

@urbex2007 I got the programming cable and software. Experimented different signaling on ham bands. Just got the IC-F3021 (HT) that goes with IC-F5021. Both are prog'ed the same way with the same software. Next video will be interesting.
