  • I don't know why you're watching Amnesty Internatinal videos when you have zero compassion. People like you are the ones who have made this world so impossible.

  • Amnesty has no official position on abortion. Please don't spread lies.

  • I just started donating to Amnesty and hope to help them in the future with campaigns, letters...etc. Cause I think it's our duty to help others even if they provoke others... Simply, no one is born evil...

  • BIG BROTHER in BRUSSELS !

Commission proposals tabled on Tuesday will lead to a European ID card register, internet surveillance systems and automated EU exit-entry border systems operated by machines reading fingerprints

"We are seeing EU agencies becoming institutions in their own right without open debate.

These policies constitute an attack on civil liberties and are evidence of dangerous authoritarian tendencies within the EU." Tony Bunyan (European Civil Liberties Network ).

  • Now you really went down there well. Get the US under Canadian Colonial-type Rule! OR DEATH TO OBAMA (I am Scottish, Ok?)

yeh true, they're not exactly advocates of abortion. but what sane person is. but the thing is, you either disapprove of abortion in all circumstances, unless say the mothers life is at stake. or you approve of abortion in some circumstances, as Amnesty do. there's no middle ground

  • I apologize, let me re-phrase. They do have a position but it does not suggest that abortion be provided on demand. Amnesty has suggested that it should be decriminalized (not legalized) and that it should be available in situations where the life of the mother is in danger. Furthermore, this position was predicated more on Amnesty's belief (and a tenet of the UNDHR) that a modest level of medical care should be provided for individuals in dire need.

  • Its a balance. An unfortunate balance.

you raise a perfectly valid point, which i completely understand. as you say the child would be disadvantaged. but, personally, i still feel its wrong to kill (although i wouldnt blame you for killing fairly in war under the laws of engagement of arms), killing is sadly what abortion does, and it kills sumthing innocent, that from a point is human
