this's a great and clear tutorial. However, I have a problem at the last step. After I use the command line to give the last command, sudo make install, there're few lines start and show it's installing ffmpeg.
But it shows,
INSTALL install-libs
install: ffmpeg: Inappropriate file type or format
make: *** [install-progs] Error 71
and stoped.
Could anyone give me a help?
I've tried this for few days and fail at the last step.

Awesome video. I liked how you started the video right off with the tutorial, instead of wasting 30 seconds introducing yourself.

Thanks, great video tutorial which helped me make sense from the web tutorial which basically assumed the reader knew enough. I have just followed the process and now have the Firefox add-on DownloadHelper able to convert all sorts of web video directly from the browser...cool and simple. downloadhelper net

Would vote two thumbs up! Thanks a lot.

@JawBacca Hmmm, never tried. But your welcome to move it, to experiment if you like.

I created a ffmeg folder in my home folder and copied and pasted the command just as illustrated in you tutorial. I receive the error: "command not found." Mind you everything has worked smoothly up until now, am I missing something? Thanks for your help!

@ilakai are you sure you spelled ffmpeg correctly? Paste to me what your typing when you get that error.
