Legendary film director Ridley Scott has made four of the biggest of the biggest box office hits of all time: Blade Runner, Alien, Gladiator and Hannibal. He's also brought us Thelma and Louise and Black Hawk Down. His latest release, Body of Lies, stars Leonardo di Caprio and Russell Crowe. It's an action packed movie centred on US intelligence operations in the Middle East.

Sir David met up with Ridley Scott during his time in the UK to promote the film.

@detriplea He had to be arrogant. he would of been seen by the Hollywood types as an English wimp when he came to Hollywood first. He knew he had bags and bags of experience from doing live TV and advertisments. He already had his thing down when he went to Hollywood, so I guess he just didn't take shit off anyone. I admire him hugely.

If someone in the world has the right to be arrogant, that would be Ridley Scott, hehehehe!! However, check other of his interviews. I dont think he is arrogant as much as he is sure of what he wants and why he wants it. That maybe come as arrogant, but I think is purely earned confidence.
