this intervieuw is in Amsterdam. The concert he gave was on 28 of March 1982. I know that for certain because I have been there. That evening Maestro Gedda sang songs of opera composers.

The people were a bit dissapointed because he sang know opera aria's. I can tell you what Maestro Gedda says in the interview is true

At the end of the concert the whole public was happy. I was so lucky too see and met this great tenor at the end of the concert The greatest tenor of the 2e part 20th century.

I adore and love maestro Gedda. I am 51 years old live in the neighboorhood of Amsterdam.

I am Gedda fan since 1975 I saw and heard him

for the first time on German television. Before that I listened too Richard Tauber Tauber learned me my love for operetta. It sounds crazy but it is true. I was born in 1958. Later I understood what Tauber sad after he heard Gigli singing. I quit fortunaly he did not What would Gigli have sad after hearing Gedda
