My only question is how do we know when we have filled it 300 times? Do we have to keep track or is there an indicator on the filter?

technically, if you have a bigger bobble, then you drink out of it less times within a day than a small bottle. It evens out to 2 months for all sizes.

I think the whole "300 refills" advertising is a bit misleading due to the fact that you have 3 different sized Bobble bottles and they all feature the same sized carbon filters... yet on each, you claim that they all get 300 refills from a filter... how can this be so?

Surely the largest bottle (1 Litre) should only do about 1/2 as much filtering as what the smallest bottles would filter due to the volume.

hey! yes, one filter is good for 300 fills. we've found that with repeated daily usage, it's usually time to change your filter after about 2 months. however, if you use your bobble less, you can certainly gage when it is time to switch it out by a less "clean" taste of water.
