Wonderful video - I do feel isolated in London as there's nowhere near the kind of connection to nature as in places such as this. I do enjoy the English countryside and especially the special feeling I get when amongst the like-minded community in and around Glastonbury, Somerset... at the moment it's just a temporary visit but I really do wish it wasn't!
It's my ambition to move out of the city and immerse myself in my true home and that home is amongst nature :-)
Hi. Not the first time - I stepped out sharpish. The second time I went up I dawdled during the walk and got "kissed" for my efforts. NOT to be recommended. Funnily it wasn't the soles but the upper foot that got (tiny) burns. All in all no problems though and a rewarding experience. - I won't do the arrow-break again though. Not a third time.
This sure is a wonderful video. ormelling the song is called 'To Build a Home' by the Cinematic Orchestra. You can find it on their 'Ma Fleur' album. I think the lyrics are most appropriate as I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that Dunderry park lodge is the a most inviting home.

Having "done" the Winter Solstice firewalk twice I LOVE to do the Summer Solstice.
Way to go Dunderry.

Beautiful video. I have posted it on my regular blog. Also posted Winter Solstice Firewalk on my Book Blog. Love the song, also. Who is it?
