Abdelhafid Tasfaout African Cup Injury

Tasfaout sufrió un terrible golpe en la cabeza debido a la disputa del balon con un adversario, esto ocurrio en la copa africa 2002 celebrada en mali. La ambulancia entro al campo despues de los intentos de los medicos argelianos de reanimarlo, mientras abdelhafid se dirigia inconsiente al hospital mas cercano se rumoreaba que habria muerto puesto que la caida fue muy dura y no respondia a pesar de los intentos de reanimarlo. Sin embargo, el milagrosamente, se recupero. Ahora, ya retirado del futbol, es parte del cuerpo tecnico de formacion de menores en argelia.
