Australia Cape York & Back from Wilsons Prom Motorcycle. 2008

Wilsons Prom is the most Southerly point of Australia, Cape York is the most Northerly. My ride took 18 riding days, 24 days total and 9000k's round trip. It was a blast and I enjoyed every minute especially the dirt sections. Anyone can do it with the right motorcycle, right gear and preparation. I travelled alone but met some great people along the way and discovered that at 54 I still enjoy a challenge.

@Y-A-O, the bike is a '98 Yamaha Tenere, stock standard. I attached a compact Olympus camera to the bars, a shock and water proof model; it needed to be. All the best and watch out for ozzies riding in the US. Cheers, Nigel
