Do you have to have a receiver? Ive seen tons of videos where they use computers and media players etc.

With an Alpine MRP-F300 (4 channel amp) can I bridge two channels to power a subwoofer, and then use the other two channels for the front speakers?
-
One question.. When @ 1:33 that connection you have, i have it also and after you wire your subs to that connector and plug it in to your amp., what do you do to wire it up to your Theater system also? So that the music and your other speakers works off your theater system but your subs are bumpin from the amp..

This video was awesome followed every step and thankfully had the sub pre out on an old receiver, from buying the PSU to putting it together and setting it up with my sub and amp it took me all of 30 minutes to do! Thanks for all the help!

hello please respond!
On lesson two what kind of wire would u connect both ends too? i am guessing by the look it is the speaker wire or one of the red wires that is connected from the power supply?
Everybody, Important note. In the video and comments hes telling you to buy a power supply that matches the RMS wattage on the amp. That is partially true. The reason why you guys aren't getting enough power is because you amps amperage rating does not match the power supplies amperage. To get max power out of you amp you need a power supply that give of 12V and around 30 amps depending on you amplifiers power. So go on to the amplifiers website and find out its amp rating.

@MaxVolumeify
No wattage matching mentioned in the vid but thanks a lot for the input, it sure will stop the questions about the wattage needed in the comments!
