9 weeks 2 days 4D Ultrasound

Our baby is measuring 9 weeks and 2 days. She is 2.55 cm long and has a heart rate of 164 beats per minute. Yay! Update: Zoey Noelle Hunter was born sleeping on March 18, 2010. She weighed 1 lb 4.1 ounces and was 12 inches long. We love you, baby.

@BonsaisBrother Im so sorry. Your little one looks so beautiful, perfect and active. I watched your video originally because I recently posted a video for my family to hear my babies heartbeat. I thought this was just a cute 4D video and then I read your update. May I ask what happened? I worry so much about my baby. Im currently 17 weeks and its my first baby. I can't imagine how you feel. Im so sorry for you and your little angel Zoey

@Min2073 Thank you for your kind words and congratulations on your pregnancy! That mother instinct kicks in quickly and it's hard not to worry but things will probably turn out great! :) But, to answer your question: I started having mild back pain at 22 weeks but thought it was a normal symptom of pregnancy and brushed it off. As the week went on, the pain got worse and I started feeling a heaviness.

@Min2073 My husband and I went to the hospital when I had some spotting and found out that I was dilated 3 cm. I was put on bedrest and we were hoping to make it to 24 weeks. But, at 23 weeks Zoey's heart stopped beating, we think the cord became wrapped around her neck, and I was induced. I later tested positive for the MTHFR gene mutation. Our doctor isn't sure if I might have an incompetent cervix and if the gene mutation played a role in this, or if I just went into premature labor.

@Min2073 This has definitely been the hardest thing I've ever been through but I am so thankful to have the memories of Zoey kicking, my husband playing songs for her, and just lying in bed thinking about what she would be like. I'll miss her always but I'm so lucky to have carried her for even a short time.

Thanks for sharing your video, I am 9 weeks & 1 day & am so curious as to what my little one looks like & is doing inside my tummy. My first ultrasound is next Monday & I can't wait! So sorry for your loss.
