To all who support national healthcare: Do you really trust the federal government in running such a vast system? A government that has repeatedly failed to deliver on its promises. Healthcare should be completely independent of the federal government.

We entrust our government to run global wars that span continents, involve millions of people and cost hundreds of billions of dollars.

I'm guessing you don't have a problem with that.

Edwards has the most viable universal health care plan - and he's made a successful career battling the Insurance and Pharma industries - sponsors of the corporate media. Hence - we get more hair and home stories.
Apparently, the positions of OTHER millionaire candidates are more credible because they're not focused on the working poor and poverty - and are raking in the Big Bucks from the corporatists that keep the working poor poor.

Type 1 Diabetic, uninsurable, Austin, Texas.

Cost of monthly drugs & supplies $700,

Cost for stem cell treatment in Germany to possibly cure my disease $12k,

Money the pharmafucks have made off of me slowly dying since I was diagnosed 6 years ago, over $50k.

Seeing an end to the corruption of HMO's & greedy Dr's (hippocratic oath anyone?) priceless

I'll stand up, but I'll be dead by the time you actually do anything about health care. Stop whiningabout it for campaign purposes when you know you won't do a thing about it, just like Clinton.

Excuse me!! Edwards isn't taking the Big Bucks from the Insurance and Pharma industries.
Clinton and Obama are.

John Edwards should be our next president. He cares about the people of America, not just corporations and the rich. How refreshing it will be to have him in our Whitehouse instead of the destructive "Corporate war-monger" in there now.

bottom line: John Edwards supports infanticide. I'm not talking about abortion.. I'm talking about a baby delivered breech all the way until just the head is yet to come out - then the abortionist crushes the baby's skull to complete delivery. Edwards mourned the partial-birth abortion ban & the Supreme Court's upholding of it.
