I read the book while in college, and saw the movie on TV some years after. Both of them stayed with me until this day (I'm 43) and I wanted to experience both of them again. Got the book for Christmas, and now here I am watching this on YouTube.

I love movies about evil little brats. Their environment didn't make them bad, they were born bad. challenging the liberal idea that criminal behavior is caused by broken homes and poverty. the little shit was just born evil! simple as that. and , as you say, anything with Angela Pleasance is a Godsend.
