How has this man not been world player of the year yet ??
People go on about Messi , Ronaldo , Kaka , But this guy is a cut above
1 ) Has great games week in week out , No matter the opposition
2 ) Scores 20 + goals a season
3 ) Can play CM , LW , RW , CF
4 ) The ultimate team leader

williampatrickcorgan - Well, from what I've read, (in his autobiography) the Trnasfer Request was to try and pressure Liverpool into offering the contract, and he probably did partly want to leave, as he felt undervalued by Liverpool. No idea why we didn't just offer him a contract; one of the best players in the world didn't deserve to be treated like S***

gerrards offical reason for retracting his transfer request was that he saw on skysports new that kids outside the training ground were burning gerrard shirts
