Here's Dave trying the kayak. Before this video recording, I had to embarass him a bit in front of other kayakers by taking remote control of the kayak and turning him in meaningless circles for a few minutes.

  • I made my own by ganging two PF102 Series switches from DesignFlex. I used the lightest actuation range - Part# 7882-710. I used the High port on one for Puff and Low port on the other for Sip. These switches cost About $27 each.

Otherwise, you can find many switches specifically designed for the purpose on the internet. From what I've seen, they start at about $85, and include the air line and mouth-piece. Due to hygiene concerns, I doubt you'll find a multi-user design.

  • Have you tried a quad in your kayak? For our sip & puff fishing rods we use 1/4" plastic tubing and a straw. The straws are easy to change.

  • I'm looking for a cheap sip puff switch. preferably for multiple users any ideas?
