  • What makes this particular version good is the TCB band and the Sweet Inspirations...I mean how in the world could anyone play a better lead then the Hall of famer James Burton.. :)

  • Sahky's version is far better so is dennis Jales

  • Thanks for posting and lets try to keep wonderful music like the music played by the TCB Band alive and well..So to them Jerry, Ronnie, James and Glenn as well as the Sweet Inspirations a Big Heart felt thank you

    Keith

  • Just read Mr. Scheff's Bio on his web page, Like the rest of the TCB Band He easily stands on his own and a very rounded musician...This wonderful song meant for the King is just a sampling...Big Fat Snake Does It very well and not taking one thing away from Him..In particular with this piece is the enthusiasm of the 1st seated of the 3 Sweet inspirations...

  • true, this song was written for elvis presley.. a mix of blues and gospel call and respond...

  • I love it !

  • WOW!!!!!

I heard this instumental song like 10 years ago... but finally I get to hear the words.... so this is what it would have sounded like.... this is great!!!

    Thanks

  • This fella does the song as it was intended ..... BUT, it seems to be an item that would FIT Tom Jones. Appreciate being made aware of a tune meant for Elvis Presley was not done by him. Do you have others?

  • ElvisFreak77,

We have to accept that nobody will ever sing like Elvis Presley, although some have similar style and "sound." Elvis may have passed on it because it was "Too Much," ..... "get" me?

  • It's a true Elvis song that he should have done. But you do a

pretty good job on this too.

  • I sure wish Elvis could have done this, it is sort of like Burning Love and Way Down. He would have tore it up.

  • great!!

  • This song is all Elvis, even though we will never hear him sing it, this song is so suited for him and in my mind it is an Elvis song. I love Shakin' Stevens version, but the king owns it!~

  • would have been wonderful to hear elvis sing this,
