u need to realize that we cannot grow as a nation if this people keep on copying others works.

first of all, this is a contest, you need to prove the judges whether you can make a better version or a revision of the song, when you do win, have a record label, THEN you can make your own original. how can you sing an original and how would the judges know if you're singing the right tune or not? HELLO..

a good singer is always a good singer no matter how she delivers the song it will still be nice to the ear. and guess what, originals are very difficult to copy. you have to have extra talent for that.

exactly, the real singers are the ones who are second rated and copycut these people are versatile and for  surely good. but cant you see how this affects the filipino society?

i dont disagree with u, but at the same time u have to be realisitic, if u want to survive at this stage of the game, u wouldnt want to risk doing ur own version of the song unless you are a very confident one. like sushipirate was saying u can do that once u have secured the place. just have to accept the fact filipinos are clever in a special way. lol

not even a comparison with aiza. they have different styles. they just have one similarity and it shouldn't even matter or be a basis.
