  • The vast majority of psychological research is performed on willing, informed, human participants. Most of us only experiment on animals in so much as humans are animals. Our research is not to the benefit of fleeting curiosity, the IRB (institutional review board) process of experiment approval is meant (in part) to ensure that our research is not frivolous. That being said, don't damn experimental animal psychology, or animal research in general, it is an important, moral, arm of research.

  • This man repeatedly said HUMAN behavior, am I right then, to assume he doesn't experiment on animals?? I doubt it. So really, he is studying animal behavior, to the benefit of fleeting curiosity. Probably already tested countless times by each individual "scientist" and served no purpose other than to desensitize them to suffering. Damn experimental animal psychology, it helps no one. However, if it's volunteers in those labs, carry on.
