it's not correct. they had two types of Superman costume in "Hollywoodland". two with "S" which was used in the movie, and one without "S", which was used ONLY in promotional spots and posters.
"Hollywoodland's" producers have rights to use Superman logo only in movie.
Oh I'm sorry, of course you're right...Warner Bros and DC wouldn't allow them to actually put the symbol of the suit, so they had to do it with CGI...you're correct ^_^
Actually yes, he was. He was in a movie called Hollywoodland which was about the life and murder/suicide of George Reeves (the actor who played Superman in the original TV series); and of course Affleck played George Reeves/Superman ;)

Very nicely done! Too bad Affleck got the part though. He did an awful Reeves impression.
