Senators Feinstein and Boxer kill California water amendment

On September 22, 2009, Senator Jim DeMint offered an amendment that would have provided California relief from the man-made drought. The amendment would have blocked federal funding from being used to implement biological decisions that are preventing the Delta pumps from operating. This prohibition would have lasted one year.

Boxer and Feinsten need to be voted out of office and NEVER...EVER...allowed near a job that affects people ever again.

What they have done by blocking this amendment is utterly CRIMINAL. They are literally placing the rights of fish above the rights of human beings. In a country where life, liberty and pursuit of happiness are paramount, this is literally a crime against humanity.

Psycatalyst , you are an idiot. You know nothing about the water issue. The farmers use water very well. They grow food that we eat. Do you eat food? Do you want to import food from other countries that have no health restrictions on the quality of food products?

Meanwhile we have people that run water 24 hours a day and it runs down the gutter, which produces nothing..

What about the communities along the delta that dump raw sewage into the delta.. When are you going to object to that?
